Things I’m desperately waiting for
Friday, April 28th, 2006One downside of the internet is that you can hear about things so far in advance that the anticipation can become just downright annoyance.
Take the Splashpad for instance, which allows you to charge your low voltage devices like phones, cameras and PDAs wirelessly. I heard about this beast over a year ago and I’m painfully reminded that it hasn’t released every time the charger on my phone stops working (I’m on my third charger now.
Or how about Allpeers, the forth-coming extension that adds BitTorrent compatability to Firefox (Opera has had this for sometime now, built in).
