Help Me Get Smarter!

Wednesday, April 26th, 2006

Brain AgeThe internet sure has some really cool things going for it: Up to the minute news, huge sprawling communities for any subject you can think of, a wealth of information that rivals the library of Alexandria. But of these there is one thing that rises above the rest. Online begging. That’s right, I can now panhandle without even leaving my comfy chair. So rejoice with me, and donate a buck or two to help me get Brain Age. It’ll make me smarter so I won’t have to beg anymore.

You can click here to donate or use the little linky in the sidebar.

I was right.

Haven’t touched Second Life in days, due mostly to the fact that my wife bought me Animal Crossing: Wild World for my Nintendo DS (which she also has for her’s). I feel like we reconnected some long lost teenage attribute we lost along the path to parenthood. Strangley enough, the house has never been cleaner and the kids happier. Could video games be making us more responsible?

Second Life

I decided this morning to take the next plunge in online community: Second Life.

If you don’t know what Second Life is, just imagine Myspace inside a 3d-world. I’m sure I’ll tire of it quickly and not have enough time to play it, but heck it’s free and they gave me $250 ingame to play with.
